Sarah Cashdollar is a doctoral student at the University of Chicago in the Department of Comparative Human Development and a fellow in the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) pre-doctoral interdisciplinary training program. She uses sociological and developmental perspectives to examine adolescent preparation for the transition from high school to postsecondary education and work. Her dissertation on Career and Technical Education (CTE) examines the implications of vocationalism on social stratification via impacts on youth experiences and decision-making.
